Core Molding Technologies, Inc. is a molder of fiberglass reinforced plastics (FRP) and compounder of sheet molding compound (SMC). CORE’s processing capabilities include the compression molding of SMC, vacuum assisted resin infusion molding, spray up and hand lay up processes. CORE produces high quality fiberglass reinforced, molded products and SMC material with polyester and vinylester for varied markets, including medium and heavy-duty trucks, automobiles, personal watercraft and other commercial products. CORE, with its headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, operates plants in Columbus, Cincinnati, Ohio, Gaffney, South Carolina, and Matamoros, Mexico.

Since its inception as a public company in 1997 (AMEX:CMT), CORE has steadily grown its marketshare in the FRP market and now enjoys relationships with every major North American-based truck manufacturer and leading companies in other segments. Much of this growth mirrors our expansion from a single plant in 1997 to our four current facilities and the company’s expansion into additional FRP manufacturing capabilities.

Working in partnership with our customers to find better solutions for their needs – from product design through manufacturing and distribution – CORE is continually working to expand its leadership position in the reinforced plastics market. Our reputation has been built on:
